The boardwalk even has its own beachfront park for children to enjoy. Charnow Park has shaded seating areas, picnic spots and playgrounds complete with an interactive fountain. If your kids get tired of building sandcastles, they can enjoy the slides and climbing walls in this outdoor park.

Hollywood features over six miles of beaches that have been Blue Wave Certified. This certification means that the beach has something for everyone. With sand and surf and a variety of activities like biking, kayaking, volleyball, windsurfing and more, these areas are popular for any group. The boardwalk that lies between the beaches leads to a charming strip of shops and restaurants with beautiful ocean views.

Once you have had enough of the beach, you may want to visit downtown Hollywood. This is where the area's most delicious dining waits for visitors. Do not forget to try some of the big breakfasts downtown and it is also the best place to go for delectable desserts. This 10-acre interactive park has a children's play area and interactive fountain as well as walking paths and a site where art and culture activities are often held.

Once you have seen the city from downtown and from the beach, you may want to take a water taxi and enjoy the views from the ocean. These water taxi cruises take you along the Hollywood beaches and through the world famous Fort Lauderdale waterways.
